Photographs.

Photographs taken during injury. My glass back has turned into sand again.

I’m taking some time off from raceing in a bid to sort my back out. Ive got two big races in Europe in June & August so I need to be sensible, do the right thing and start over. The great thing is that I’ll be photographing more and filming too for an old project I have on the go. Helping during the BOFRA season is also on my agenda this year, as it was last year. Marshalling the odd race, with Buttermere Sailbeck springing to mind and Two Lads too.

Elterwater, New Dungeon Ghyll, Helm Race & Grisedale Grind are the races featured below. Not in any particular order. Photographs captured with a Leica M240 (35mm f1.4 lens), Leica D Lux 5, Sony a6000 (50mm f1.8) and a Canon 5D MK1 (300mm f4 L IS).

Click on the images to magnify them. Hope you like them.

So see you on the fells.

Say cheese.

felly.

    • Thanks for your reply and I’m glad you like the photos. The descent from New Dungeon Gyhyll was interesting this year. Quite a few folk went the wrong way off the top (clag) so didn’t actually pass me at the scree point, however many still got to the marshals who were below me. They went free style, which doesn’t really matter as they got to the checkpoint regardless of direction. Its a great run off whichever way you go. You must come and do the race. Its a cracker.
